SQUEEZE.

Earwigs against noise

Our aim was to reinterpret hearing protection in a provocative and witty way.
Unlike on- or in-ear, our design squeezes the entire auricle and thus closes it. As a result, the ear loses its natural shape, which is, however, taken up again in the object in an abstracted manner.
When exposed to low levels of noise, SQUEEZE. can be worn as a decorative accessory on the ear.

Everyday objects in the ear

Objects from our close environment offer many possibilities to close the ear. In this way, it is possible to dispense with manufactured hearing protection. For example, “little ear carrots” are a pleasant variant of misappropriation.
